Annapolis, Maryland 8/5/2021 – FSR has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Health Care Staffing Services Certification by demonstrating continuous compliance with its performance standards. The Gold Seal is a symbol of quality that reflects a health care organization’s commitment to providing safe and quality patient care.
FSR is a healthcare government contractor that employs healthcare providers and healthcare personnel delivering patient care and medical administration services in Department of Defense, Department of Veterans Affairs, other federal facilities, state and local medical facilities, and private sector hospitals nationwide.
Health Care Staffing Services Certification demonstrates FSR’s commitment to quality and safety, and to delivering the best possible team to support their clients. In order to achieve certification, FSR demonstrated standards alignment in organizational leadership, information management, performance management, and human resources.
FSR underwent a rigorous onsite review on July 22, 2021. During the visit, a team of Joint Commission reviewers evaluated compliance with related certification standards. FSR received the TJC Certification after the initial review, an extremely rare occurrence. Passing after the first review illustrates FSR’s high operational standards and commitment to excellence throughout our 17 years of business.
“Health Care Staffing Services Certification recognizes health care staffing firms committed to fostering continuous quality improvement in patient safety and quality of care,” says Mark Pelletier, RN, MS, chief operating officer, Accreditation and Certification Operations, and chief nursing executive, The Joint Commission. “We commend FSR for using certification to strengthen its program structure and management framework, as well as to enhance its staff recruitment and development processes.”
FSR is proud to become a healthcare government contractor with The Joint Commission Certification for Health Care Staffing Services to continue to raise the bar of excellence.
“Quality, safety, and excellence in client delivery have been at FSR’s core since our founding 17 years ago,” said Jeff Johnson, FSR President. “The process of preparing for review allowed us to examine our organization to assess alignment of our actions and documentation with our policies and procedures. I am proud to say that this team was already delivering to standards, making the certification process straightforward.”
FSR is proud to be a government contractor with The Joint Commission Certification and excited to further our commitment to best in service to government agencies with healthcare program management, staff, military readiness, and healthcare administration.
